V+ remote problems

My V+ remote keeps affecting my TV oddly. Everytime we press the button to change cable channels or volume or anything it changes the tv's normal none cable channel to 7. This only started after getting a V+ box the problem only occurs when we use the V+ remote to change the channel. Using the regular remote to change the ordinary or freeview channels is fine it does not skip to channel 7 on the regular channel. If anyone has any ideas how to change the frequency setting on the V+ remote or knows of anything else to try it would really help as this glitch is driving us crazy we have to count to ten slowly before we can press the next button.

:welcome:, have you tried changing the batteries in the remote, if that doesn't fix it then they should replace the remote for you free of charge.
