I'll treat him indoors to a steak meal and silently toast my own father who died in 1966 at the age of 46.:)

I'm doing the same as Maggy. A toast to both our Fathers who sadly are no longer alive then a steak for HWMBO and I may even let him have some chips as a treat. :)

My dad passed away unexpectedly in January aged 77.

I went to the cemetary today and planted a rose bush (he loved his roses) and left a fathers day card as I wont be about tomorrow.

Happy Fathers Day Dad x

My own father passed away over 25 years ago - however my thoughts are with my father in law, who is now 80, but has recently been diagnosed with asbestos related lung cancer, I will miss him a lot more when he goes.....

my dad died 13 years ago - funny really (in a not very funny way) how quickly time goes by.

A Happy Fathers Day to all Daddies everywhere. :D

I lost my Dad 4 years ago at 68 he used to love Fathers day, he was like a big kid at Christmas when it came to fathers day. He used to look after us and never seen us go short. I'm filling up here because I miss him that much even after 4 years I still look at the picture on the wall and think to myself why him.

Bought my dad a High Vizability Jacket to go over his leathers as he rides a motorbike. We're having a BBQ later on, when my sister comes down.

Hope all the fathers out there have a nice day. Mine almost didn't if it wasn't for this topic, as I totally forgot :erm: I just nipped to Asda and bought a card and choccy's! Good job I haven't seen my Dad so far today or that could have been disastrous!

Just been out for lunch for Fathers' Day to our local restaurant, where we are regular customers (one of the Est Est Est chain).

Nice food, and we got 50% off the bill (staff discount as my son works there as a busboy), and then the manageress took my meal off the bill as well, as her gift to me for Fathers' Day - result total bill £51 for two course lunch with drinks for 5 people; gave them £9 tip, to round it up. :D
