Your power levels are fine so you willneed to call Tech Support a s the issue must be elsewhere causing your speed problem.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tech Support is open 24/7 on the numbers below.

For help with your TV or Phone and for Broadband Technical Support:

Call Product Support/Faults on 151 option 2 from your Virgin Media Phone. It's absolutely free.

Or call 0845 454 1111 from any other phone line.

Just to follow up. I called support they ran my through the normal stuff like rebooting the modem and getting me to remove the coaxial cable from the back of the modem.

Then he got me to look under the support tab in properties of the local area connection, the modem was giving me an IP address of 192.168.1.149.

He got me to reboot the modem another two times but it was still the same and i could not access the internet, so they are sending me a new modem!

I just hope they are right in their diagnosis, after i had put the phone down i rebooted the modem once more and i got an IP beginning in 81 (i think) and could get on the internet but at a very slow speed.

192.168.1.149 is not an ip address given by any VM modems.

Your Downstream SNR : 29.5 dB is either borderline or too low, this will cause slow speeds and intermittent connection.
Replacing the modem may correct this issue but if it doesn't you'll need a tech visit.

That looks good now. Btw how did you manage to get upgraded for free?

I called the wrong number to start with and the lady on the phone said do you know you are entitled to be upgraded to the XL package and it will reduce you bill by £5!

Yes please.
