*Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in*

Hi,

A few days a problem started occuring. When playing css (counter-strike source) at about 8-11pm i get these lag spikes and my ping increases to about 500 from 15. Sometimes, it happens in the morning but this is rare. I contacted steam support first and they said my isp is busy at these peak times and theres nothing i can do to stop it; but why has it only just started happening? It never happened before.

I have a cable modem which is on practically everyday. (I've tryed turning it off overnight plugged out etc and same problem)

I also have a router (Belkin - F5D7231-4)

I live in London.

I have port forwarded with the PFconfig program these programs:
-Half life
-Half Life 2 Steam
-Half Life 2 Steam Server
-Half Life Steam
-Half Life Steam Server
-radmin - Remote Administrator
-Steam Client
-Steam server

If you can fix this i'll love you :D.

Thanks

Your power levels are fine so you will need to call Tech Support a s the issue must be elsewhere causing your speed problem.

Hi again, i called them and they made me do a trace to one of the servers on which im having the problem. He said that he's going to pass it on to someone else and they will fix it, but i've waited 2 weeks and still no change, it is still happening and it's terrible. Also, i've upgraded to 10mb package now.

New image of what is happening, at the bottom you can see whats going on and this happens ever 5 seconds (average) and lasts for as long as 10 seconds and happens at certain times.
