Anyone else get this... I pay for a 10meg service but am lucky at times to get 6 on a good day. Just ran the speed test from here and am only getting around 2...

Sick of ringing customer services about this and being fobbed off all the time. Really want to upgrade to 20meg service but what is the point if you don't get what is advertised.

Post what modem you have and your power levels from your config pages of your modem. The should be a sticker on the bottom saying what model.

If using an Ambit modem please click here

What I want you to post is the Downstream power levels including the SNR and the Upstream power levels for me thanks.

Hi Moldova, hope this is what you want. Bit of a newbie when it comes to getting config info etc..

Modem is an Ambit E08C013.00

I clicked on the link and it gave me this info:

Cable Modem : Euro-DOCSIS 1.0/1.1/2.0 Compliant

Downstream Lock : Locked

Downstream Receive Power Level : 3.1 dBmV

Downstream SNR : 38.4 dB

Upstream Lock : Locked

Upstream transmit Power Level : 43.5 dBmV

Is that ok???

They are spot on and will not be causing your speed issue, which could be an issue on the exchange or sometimes your equipment.

Are you connected direct or through a router if a router try a direct connection.

I would recommend calling Tech Support and let them run some checks.
