hey guys,

i know the WNB2100 comes with the 50mb upgrade. What kind of wireless throughput do you guys get, without using the big fat USB dongle?

I have a miniPCI intel 4965AGN single band card on my thinkpad right now. I also have a Linksys 160N on my current set up. I get 4-5mbytes/second (32-40mbit) throughput using this setup.

Do you think the WNB2100 would improve on this? I know I can just wait for it to arrive and test for myself, but that's a week away and i'm anxious ;)

thanks!

All N routers will give you kinda the same throughput as long as you use a N card or dongle otherwise you will see anything below 24Mb, I never seen a problem with the Netgear router but if you linksys works well keep it and use the Netgear router as a spare.
