I just read that 2mb is being upgraded to 10mb.

I'm just curious if that means I'll be upgraded to 20mb or any faster speed as my current speed is already 10mb. I am also wondering if the price I paid for 10mb will be dropped now that 2mb is being upgraded to 10 as I am not sure as my bill says £25 for Broadband Package L while 2mb to 10mb users will be paying £20 for 10mb L according to Virgin's package page (http://allyours.virginmedia.com/websales/service.do?id=2)

No you will not upgraded.

Also the 2 - 10Mbit upgrade is NOT putting people on BB L - it is upgrading them to BB M 10Mbit, which is a different product

If you are not happy with the price you are paying I suggest you phone Virgin and see what they can do.

If you have a BT landline you could save yourself £11 a month by swapping to a Virgin phoneline for the same price as you are paying them for Broadband alone - £25 (plus you get free install on a phoneline as an existing broadband customer at the moment)

It's not a matter of being unhappy with price, it's just clearing up whether or not there would be an upgrade or if the price I currently pay would be dropped to match this new 2 to 10mb upgrade.

No, as the upgrade is a different product

Customers paying £20 for BB L see it as follows

BB L £25
BB L Discount - £5
