Ipod mini and ford focus 09

I have the new ford focus with the usb dock i have also bought the ipod connector lead from ford's but when i connect the ipod the screen show sync and pls wait but nothing else happens.
Anyone got any ideas on this?

Hmm not sure.

I have a MP3 Cassette that I got from the poundshop. You plug your MP3 player into it then plug this in your cassette player ;)

...but if your car has a CD player then no good :rolleyes:
