...and arranged to have a foreign callcenter :grind:

I can't wait to get through to someone with a fake American accent...

T-Mobile are outsourcing EVERYTHING with the goal of being a virtual operator like Virgin Media.

Becoming a bit of a joke now!! We should do our best and boycott the companies that use cheep labour abroad. It’s the 500 staff that lose there jobs as well.

This is just a further development as per this thread http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/10/33647960-virgin-media-off-shore-call-centres.html

T-Mobile are the backbone of Virgin Mobile as well.

It isn't anything to do with that - Tmobile makes its own decisions independently of VM.

That's quite a supposition.

Maybe it is me being suspicious but would be interesting to know who is dealing with both the T- Mobile contract and the Virgin contract.

Conversely I was told by an orange CSR that the Orange callcenters are being brought back into the UK, certainly I haven't had an overseas operator for quite some time now when I phone in.

Forget it,Orange are going to continue using foreign call centres for Pay As You Go.

Maybe Virgin Media should quit using T-Mobile and start leasing someone elses network. I know, what about 3! Then Virgin would have better 3G services to offer.

O2 will be the next ones to outsource their operations to an overseas call centre. Some job losses are already being discussed for the Leeds and Norwich centres.
