Virgin Media install Help!

Hi

I'm new to this forum.

I have just recently cancelled all my Sky tv, phone, broadband packages to go to Virgin Media.

I am now worried as after looking outside my house (a terrace with a path running along the front of all the houses) I noticed that every house appears to have a black CATV box set into the path outside their house all except mine :(

Now I'm worried that they are not going to be able to do the instalation. i also can't understand why it only went as far as the house next door???

Any ideas???

Ok if you don't have a small black cap in the pavement (about 2 inches sq) don't worry, its called a swept T, and VM will put one in for you, at no extra cost. The only issue is if installs are not aware of this issue in time you may loose your original install date, it all depends on how busy they are, (there is meant to be a pre-install inspection done 5 days before install which identifies these issues). Unfortunately there is little you can do to warn VM about this.
