I am having lots of work done on my house and will end up with 4 or 5 TV's in various rooms. I would like to be able to watch in HD albeit I will probably not have 5 HD boxes at the same time (not sure how easy theay re to unplug and move). The important thing for me whilst all the floorboards are up and walls being chiselled out is what cabling to use. The builders reckon to run Sat cable (cat 100) to eact TV, actually a double cable to record as well, and feed back to a central point in the loft. I think this will work for SKY HD or Freesat but not sure how Virging, my preference, will work. I am on the old NTL network, postcode BR2.
I am thinking also perhaps use freesat for 3 of the TV and Virgin HD for the 2 main ones. At the moment I only use freeview.
