Is it me or have Virgin media started to staple our nuts?

I haven't been able to properly use several well known torrents boards. Not only are they pretty annoyingly slow to use, sometimes they aren't even available!

Try some other DNS servers and see if that helps.

Already use another DNS service. and it seems top notch as usual.

any other ideas, or do I have to phone up the puppets?

I download on a regular basis using Utorrent, my speeds are fine.
I've just downloaded 700 meg at my usual 20 meg speeds.
Perhaps it's the other DNS service you're using that's having problems?
Or perhaps it's something on your comp, router etc causing the issue.
Try downloading files from http://gamefiles.virginmedia.com using VM's DNS servers and try again using the other DNS servers, is there any difference.
Or maybe your torrent sites have restricted your access.

All things to try before jumping to the conclusion you're torrents are being managed by VM.
