Phone number for cancelling NTL/Virgin Broadband

I am moving on to pastures new and need to cancel my Virgin/NTL Broadband. Has anyone got the direct phone number that I would need? I know I should probably phone the main 0845 customer services number but I get the impression that I wil have to speak to a million different people (retention dept etc) before I get to the right person. So if anyone does have a direct number of which they think could help, I would very much appreciate it. :)

Hello, good morning the number is uasly 150 or 151 free from any Virginmedia landline.

If you ring this number it will be an automated service at first you know the type press 1,2 or 3.

They can also transfere you to the relevent department.

Thanks for your help but I only have Virgin/NTL Broadband. I do not have any other of their of there services. So calling 150 or 151 won't help.

Then the 0845 number is your best bet.
