I wonder if anyone can give me some advise. my 20meg modem has been going down the constantly for the last 2 days.

I've had to contact tech support 4 times beofre they said they will send someone out on Monday, The strange thing is if I remove my Virgin TV box then my modem works but if I reconnect it just stops working? Is that a power issue?

I live in nottingham ng7 area. Any advice on these settings:

Downstream Lock : Locked
Downstream Channel Id : 6
Downstream Frequency : 402750000 Hz
Downstream Modulation : QAM256
Downstream Symbol Rate : 5360.537 Ksym/sec
Downstream Interleave Depth : taps32Increment4
Downstream Receive Power Level : -8.9 dBmV
Downstream SNR : 36.0 dB

Thanks

Your upstream is fine, just you downstream power is too low, if you are ex ntl anyway.

Yes downstream should be in the + side not the - side, call Tech Support and get it checked out.
