50 mb roll out

Does anyone know exactly when the much fan fared 50 mb roll out is happening? I'm not being greedy or anything 'cos I do get most of the 20 Mb potential most of the time. However, there are times, when all 4 of us are using our lappies and a games console, when we could do with the extra bandwidth.
