Have just started with Virgin Media. yes the broadband speeds are ok but not as rleiable as i thought. i am still in my 28 day cooling period, could they upgrade me to xl for less than a fiver extra a month or do they only do deals after your 12 month contract. i want the 20 meg and wish i had ordered it originally but if i can upgrade to it for less than an extra fiver a month, it would be great!
i currently have phone XL and broadband L, nothing else,

If you are within your cooling off period you will only get offered the standard bundles avaliable
if you are on phone XL and BB L you will probably be paying £34.95. Customer Care (not Relations) can give you Phone XL and BB XL for £38 when you pay via e-bill and D/D. It is called the Ultimate Double 2

i pay £30.45 (as i had a sales consltant out who gave me better deals) so would the ultimate double 2 cost me £38?
As I don't know how the £30.45 is put together (unless it has a 1/2 price offer in it for the first 3 months, I can't say for definate.
But you wouldn't be able to get any reduction on that bundle if you are quoted £38
