On ADSL lines you can have interleaving off/on, having it off can reduce ping times for gaming. On LLU lines the ISP controls it, IP & Datastream BTW does.


Now on a cable line is there a similar option?

No.

Interleaving is a technology employed by the DSLAM for basic error recovery it is not available to turn on/off on cable due to the differences in technology.
