I have been paying £18 for my broadband (M) package for at least 3 years (although the price might have varied in the past Ive always paid the full amount).
I called customer services, asking about an increase to the (L) package, but because Im an existing customer, I wont be given the "new customer" deal of £16/pcm. I'd have to pay the full amount (£24) right from the get-go.
Way to treat loyal customers.

I agree with chris but why should you get a new customer deal your not a new customer they are a company not a charity if you go to sky or any other provider you have to add on the bt line rental if you want a deal get 2for£27 which is phone line with free weekend calls and 4/10mb bb

Because he is a loyal customer who has brought in a fair amount of profit for VM/NTL/Diamond Cable etc over the years?
They wouldnt even be around if it wasnt for customers like him.

That's what has always intrigued with Sky. Their 3 for £16 thing which is essentially: Freeview inc. Sky 1 + 2mb + Evening/Weekend Calls, is it truly £16 or £16 plus line rental?

£16 plus line rental which vm can do for £28 free tv 10Mb bb when upgrade has been done and phone with free weekend calls I meant 2for£28 in my ealrier post as well
@ Trax tell me how vm would benefit by upgrading a customers speed and lowering the price

VM are overpriced on their lower tier products.
STM.
They'd benefit by actually keeping a customer rather than loosing one.
