View Full Version : No broadband since last Wed, CM1 area

Our cable broadband stopped working last Wed evening and hasn't been back since.
We've rung Virgin loads of times and just get the old "our engineers are aware of the problem" line.

Is anyone else in the same boat or know of what's going on?

Also what sort of compensation are we likely to get?
I work from home most of the time and now have to drive in the office to work, a round trip of 160 miles :(

Don't know about anything else, but you won't really get any compensation, other than the cost of the broadband for the days that it wasn't working (and possibly some good will gesture).
You're on a residential contract I assume, so technically you're not supposed to be using it for home working (though no one really cares if you do) - but as a result you can't claim things back because you haven't been able to work from home
