Im tired of my "up to 8mb" rubbish connection because i live in a non-cabled area, i get 200kb/s.

i was wondering if there are any plans to cable more areas?

Until someone commits to an idea that doesnt involve digging cable ducts (ie use the sewers) i doubt it will get anymore widespread other than on new developments

Was meant abit tongue in cheek ;)

Anyway...VM are only cabling new developments (same with BT's fibre) and area's to which it would be beneficial to them.

You could try improving your ADSL speed by changing the faceplate etc, try reducing your SNR, make sure you use better cabling, it would be helpful if you could tell us what ISP your with.

You can also go to http://www.samknows.com (click availability checker) to see what ISP's are available to you and what your distance is from the exchange.

Try this link it has coverage maps for all providers plus a availability checker that tells you what providers you have in your area.

Hope it helps.
