I signed up to virgin but they never gave us a email or password to use, we signed up over the phone,now i go to upgrade to 10mbit i cant without username and password, how can i upgrade now?
Call VirginMedia support. 151 from your VirginMedia phone.
will they ask me security questions or just my number then upgrade?
They will ask you a security question. If you are the account holder you'll have no problem answering it :)
You will then be given your internet account/ e-mail addess and password, you can then log into selfcare to upgrade.
damn it, the account older wont let me upgrade,now im stuck on crappy2meg which gets capped after ike 20 minutes i cant even dl my tv eps :@

More to the point, if the account holder has said no and you go ahead and get it upgraded anyway you're probably committing fraud.
Seriously, I'd just drop it.
i upgraded when they had 512 and offerd 1mbit mr bill payer (father )dident even notice....

no i shouldent respect that, 2meg sucks i cant dl anything without it being capped i may aswell call it a 1mbit connection
