Hi everyone, this is my first post on this forum so please forgive any mistakes.My query is this , we are on 10meg VM cable.On speed tests the desktop PC only gets 2-2.5 meg download speed but the vista laptop gets nearly the full 10meg anyone got any ideas why .

get hold of a program called TCP Optimizer and run it and set for 10mb.

This tends to help a lot of users...

Many thanks for your replies.We did as you suggested Welshchris and it has worked a treat with no ill effects so far.The setting you mentioned was set for 2.5 and we changed it to 10 (as per your instructions).This was the only setting we changed as you didn't say to change any off the others.
