Hello,

Having major problems in the Portsmouth/Cosham/Whiteley area tonight. Looks like Virgin are aware, but according to them it has been on-going since Saturday with a 4 Hour response

Anyone got any idea when things will be back up and running properly? I can access the internet but it is excruiatingly slow. A Tracert to cableforum.co.uk below to make you smile :D

uBR cos2 has been and still seems to be okay (at least for surfing) - I assume that cos2 is one of the Cosham uBRs?

3 seconds for your router to get to the modem isn't right.
I'd be running it again with modem direct to pc.

Could be something to do with this?

Well sometimes faults happen, upgrade and engineering causes most of the outages, its necessary to carry out such upgrades and maintainance, if they didn't then you wont have very good services long term and thus you will be complaining about that!

If they didnt do any upgrades, then you will end up in the same boat as BT line users! stuck in pre-historic times with there copper cable.

Doubt it, check the dates ;)

Although i am in portsmouth, surfing is ok, but its still pointless trying to game from 4pm-12am since university students came back. Ive just given up hope...the only reason im still with virgin is due to the tv.
