Thats 13K for a 5 roomed cabin, not 5 bedrooms. Not available in store or for home delivery though? How do you buy them then?

That's what I meant anyway.

They're not available because they're out of stock?

ROFLMAO @

Supplied in kit form containing all the components and instructions required for self assembly.

How much you wanna bet there will be 5x Bolts missing, 1 Wooden bar & no Special took to tighten bolts up (if needed) lol.

Ikea have enough trouble with a Shelf Unit, let along a £13k Log Cabin in Flat Pack...

I guess so, yeah.
Buy land, build it on your own land, get planning permission etc.
IKEA do them as well, I believe.

Theres a lake around here where you can rent a plot of land by the side of the lake. Some people put a stationary caravan on he plot, other people buy a log cabin (aka shed;))

I'd rather move out the country, buy an old building for £10,000 and do it up.
Property is much cheaper abroad so one day that is what I intend to do.

Not the first company to try it. Ikea did a while back, although I can't seam to find it on the website.

I was flicking channels the other week and came across someone who did get their house flat packed from Scandinavia in one of those many programs about other peoples houses.Seemed quite nice and value for money. The only thing is that they mentioned that all wooden houses are difficult to insure.:)
