I have been using a Sitecom WL-143 router and NTL 250 cable modem witout problems for over a year, just recently my LAN has been experiancing problems.[limited or no connection IP address 169.xx]. but connecting directly to the cable modem i have an internet conenction.
I have installed the latest firmware on the router this has made no improvement. ocassionaly when i relise and refresh the ip adress i will have a connection but within an hour is lost.
With virgin media recently upgrading the billing system are they also making changes to the way the cable modem is addressed
