Broadband Speed

i've just done a speed test (CF speed test) and this is what it showed:Overall Average Speed = approx 17088 Kbps, 16.69 Mbps Does this mean my broadband is nearly 17MB? Or is this an estimation as to what the maximum speed can be on my street?

Any info on this would be appreciated. thankyou

If you are getting that on size L broadband be very happy as that should either be 4Mb or 10Mb.
