Just wanted to ask if my signal levels seem OK before getting a techie out to look at my cable modem as it keeps disconnecting

Thanks for looking :)

Ex- Telewest or Ex-Ntl

ownstream receive looks high, its right on the upper limit, but where is the Downstream SNR

Upstream transmit power maybe high as well.

What Modem make and model? I need this to be sure.

SNR looks ok, but the upstream & downstream power levels look marginal..

here are mine for comparison

Downstream Receive Power Level : 7.8 dBmV
Downstream SNR : 39.1 dB

Upstream transmit Power Level : 48.5 dBmV

The upstream is to high as is the receive is to low -10 is the limit for this modem .You need a tech to check the levels :)

Definitely requires a Tech to adjust your power levels, ring Tech support.

If you phone up in the morning you could get a Tech that day or even the next day, it just depends on availability.

Best to give as many days in advance as you can, more likely to get the day you want if you do that
