Anyone really struggling in South Manchester?

Last few nights i'm struggling to break 500kbs from newsgroups (20 connections on usenetserver) on my 20mb package. Haven't downloaded anything between 4 and 9 so it's not STM (I hope!).

I know the Baguely UBR is notoriously bad, but this is much worse than usual.

Late last night (1:30am) i was getting a respectable 1.75mbps.

I'm on cpc3-bagu2-0-0-custxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.com.

25% of the max isn't really good enough :(

same here i am in bolton cpc2-bolt3-0-0-cust400.manc.cable.ntl.com,getting around 250-300kbs on newsgroups.

same here in north Stoke, abysmal newsgroup speeds.

cp1-str3. With no downloading since this morning my downstream now is struggling to reach 1000kbps but my upstream is a steady 375kbps as usual.
