It's usually the last Sunday in March, so next weekend.

Summer Time Dates for the Years 2006 to 2011

Since 1995 October 22, all member states of the European Union have used a common date and time for the beginning and end of the summer time period, i.e., the period of the year during which the clocks are put forward by 60 minutes compared with the rest of the year.

The Ninth Directive 2000/84/EC states that from 2002 onwards, in every Member State, the summer-time period shall begin at 1.00 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time on the last Sunday in March, and shall end at 1.00 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time on the last Sunday in October.

For 2006-2011 inclusive, the summer time periods will begin and end respectively on the following dates at 1.00 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time.

2006 The Sundays of 26 March and 29 October
2007 The Sundays of 25 March and 28 October
2008 The Sundays of 30 March and 26 October
2009 The Sundays of 29 March and 25 October
2010 The Sundays of 28 March and 31 October
2011 The Sundays of 27 March and 30 October

Total waste of time and money twice a year, they should just pick one or the other and stick to it.

Luckily I remembered, but I don't have anything special or important going on today so forgetting wouldn't have been a problem :erm:

I seem to remember that one year - sometime in the 70s, I think - they didn't change them and nobody noticed. Am I right?

My lad was going gliding this morning, and needed to be dropped of at 7am (or in the real world, 6am).
