l just wondered how it worked...

lm not so sure about the ADSL side of things but l heard that the Cable side at peak times limits one to 5meg or so at peak times if one downloads at full speed for more than an hour or something, well l was wondering if there was something similar on the ADSL platform that limited down to under 20k

as far as l was aware one had to be in the top 5% to be limited now to be honest even if l went flat out l could never manage that because most of the heavy downloaders will be on upto 8meg connections, l myself cant even touch 1.5meg now days because of where l now live..

lm wondering if between 4pm and midnight at weekends is considered peak times as well? because lve a few large downloads to do tonight however for some reason even my 1meg speed is so pitiful at the second l cant even call it dialup.

is this the cable side? because these letter codes (M, L, and XL) werent mentioned when l ordered DSL, and like l said my original 4/5meg connection is now a 1Meg one due to line length
