Has anyone else had this email this morning from Virgin Media?????
Quote:
"Hello you."

"At Virgin Media we keep our ear to the ground. We listen to our people and try to give them what they want. We want to keep you in the know too. That's what Virgin Media People are here for. There's not an event that passes us by or an offer that goes begging. So stay close and you'll not miss a thing."

I nearly fell off my chair when I read it.

I want a good internet connection, that's stable and has constant download speeds. 20M that downloads at 20M off-peak, with a little drop off peak times (1M peak times is PANTS).

What do you guys want??????

If zinglebarb feels he's a bit short in the trouser department. He can ask for an upgrade and if he gets one he'll probably want a downgrade a month later, due to poor performance. I'm sure VM have got a plastic surgery clinic under the corporate umbrella.

I keep getting stuck in the weird syntax of the quote. Does it mean that "they" try to give the listening VM "People" what they want rather than us, the tiresome punters?
And amongst the offers they're sure not to have missed is that, at £25/mth, even 10Mb is barely competitive with various LLU flavours of ADSL.

Anyhow, after careful consideration I've decided that what I'd really, really like is a choice of cable broadband ISPs.
(But then, if they'd been listening then they'd know that already?)

What's that?
"Engineers are investigating the problem and normal service will be returned as soon as possible"?

As i`ve alluded to before,be good to your customers,as well as your staff.
And your customers, and your staff will surely be good to you in return.

It`s not rocket science eh:rolleyes:
