Virgin Instalation Upstairs

Hi all, i'm updating to virgin plus on saturday and at the same time they installing me my old virgin box upstairs in the bedroom.
So my question is will they route wire upstairs on the outside of the house or inside? I already have one wire going up the outside wall into bedroom for our modem but its the bedroom at the opposite side of the house where i want the box. I cant see them wanting to pull carpets up etc but i would prefer it thhis way. Am i best getting carpets up ready??

I thought your were having a Virgin installed upstairs for a minute ;)

My upstairs install is on the outside, but its always a good idea to talk to the installer before they start work, they might do what you ask
