Trying modem on another computer

I want to try my modem on another computer to see if it works.

Will there be any issues or is a matter of swapping it over and putting in settings?

With any other ISP I would just do it, but Virgin seem to be in a world of their own and everything has a habit of chuffing up all the time!!!:td:

Make sure the other PC has IP & DNS both set to "Obtain Automatically" in the TCP/IP settings of the network connection.


Reboot the modem (power off & on).
