Is anyone in Belfast area getting really slow browsing and download speeds from 7pm onwards?

Yep, I'm on the 20mb package and at times it has hit as low as 0.3mb. Not good.

In saying that, my connection has just come back online after being down for a few hours. Upgrading to help the issue, perhaps?

I'm getting slow speeds and have been losing my RDY connection over the past few days.

This is mine (20Mb line) and I can see pages update:

Waste of time downloading files because their download speed accurately reflects the speed test results.

When I play Battlefield 2 I can't play at all during the day as my ping rates are far too high and that's on UK only servers!

Luckily I work from home and can change my slep pattern round until the line gets cancelled and we change ISP.

I haven't had access to any websites since wednesday night although email and bittorrent work okay. There's nothing on the website status page although the freephone status number reports internet problems in BT16, but i'm in BT7.

does the cable support line shut at 19.30 as i couldn't get an answer on it last night?
