View Full Version : Unable to set up new broadband account?

I've recently had virgin broadband installed at home - about 2 weeks ago.

However I am unable browse the web - because I can't get past the registration page.

I've rang them up a couple of times, and they say that they are doing maintenance on their side - and there's nothing they can do to help me in the meantime.
I was given a date when that maintenance would be complete (06/10/07).
But that date has now been and gone, and I'm still stuck at this point.


I was just wondering if anyone else was in the same boat as me - and finding it impossible to register?
Or has anyone joined in the last few weeks, and managed to get up and running?

Also, does the fact I can get as far as the registration page mean I've actually been online - and therefore my equipment is OK?

And, does anybody know how long this is going on for?

Ok, crisis over. :)

My account was accidently cancelled because of the recent updates to their system.

If anyone else is having similar problems - they should to ring customer services - and see if they have also had their account cancelled.
If so, you will get a new account and pin number - and be able to get online.
