blocking mobile numbers

ive just rung virgin and asked them to block people from ringing mobile numbers from my phone , it will take 24 hours to activate , and ive got a code to use incase i need to ring mobiles , is there any way my daughter can find out that u need a code to ring mobiles and is there any other way they can use phone for mobiles , can they bypass the code or put another code in to let them ring mobiles

No they can't. You have been given a PIN code, anyone wanting to call a mobile from your line will need the PIN code. Keep it safe, and your daughter is stumped. :D

This reminds me of old-fashioned dial phones - I had a friend whose dad used to lock the dial with a metal thingy inserted in the number 1 hole.

Sadly by the time we learned how to tap-dial a phone we were all grown up and it was too late to be of use.

That wouldn't be any use to your daughter though. She really won't be able to make mobile calls without the PIN.
