I do not have Vista.
This may have already been asked ,but has anyone had problems getting Broadband working on Vista either through the Ethernet or USB.I'm asking because when the modem is plugged in to the PC by either connection ,it does not show as new hardware or new connection found .Can anyone tell me how to set the connection up as it would be appreciated.

Thank you.

You sure that everything is plugged in correctly? Try to find the Network & Sharing Centre and see what it says

Yes it is all plugged in correctly .I have had a a good Google and cant seem to find anything that does a step by step manual install to Vista .From what is said PC Guard does not work to well with it either ,but thats something else.

I have Vista Premium and it was just a case of plug and play. Are you sure the NIC is installed properly? Check the Device Manager for any yellow exclamation or question marks.

your blueyonder connection will not work with Vista via USB the drivers for the modems just don't exist nor is it supported by tech support.

The only way to get it working with Vista is to use Ethernet, if it does not work with Ethernet then you need to check you NIC drivers are installed this is also not supported by tech support.

your nic card may have worked under xp but may not be supported in vista..the best idea is just to buy a new card for about £15.00 or less what will work.Realtek RTL8139 works great with vista
