FTP...is it down?

hey everyone, I was updating my site. and I uploaded all the files, but once I disconnected from the FTP prog, my site has dissapeared...

so I was wondering, is ntl/virgin media's upload not working?

there is nothing wrong with the files, only since I uploaded them they are gone from the net.

I use Filezilla and I use it regularly so I don't think this is the problem.

ik have you tried pinging the ftp server as I just have trid it and I got 4x answer.

it pings fine, but when I upload files, the file sixe goes to zero, but says the file is there

EDIT: I tried to ftp through the browser it let me in, I could do most, but my main siat folder said:
451 Transfer Aborted. Broken Pipe

well it seems to have fixed itself, I uploaded the website again, this time the files got transferred and kept there KB. earlier, the KB all went to 0

so it seems to have been fixed somehow
