Hi

i ordered a new modem via the virgin meda website
and its been 14 (working ) days already and i still havent received it yet

i tried calling 0845 454 1111 (which i got from my confrimation email)
but the person on the phone
told me to call tech support

should i call tech support??
or a differant number??

any other means to contact virgin media about this??

I can't figure out why they would want you to call tech support about a modem that hadn't been delivered..try phoning again, you may get a human.

You don't have to pay anything. Call 150 if you have a Virgin Media line.

just made a late call to CS
got thru to India i think

told me to call sales tommorow (sales?!?!) as sales is closed right now
and gave me a direct phone number
this kinda sucks

think ill call CS again tommorow see how it goes........

should i even consider calling tech support?? (with their premium number)

been on the phone now for over 30mins
call CS diverted to sales says cant do anything told me to call CS or tech
called CS and then got diverted to
this department (didnt catch the name (0800 073 1685 if some1 know what this is))
and now holding
while this person talks to sales about if there was a modem ordered for me

phone tech supp tell them your modem is not comp with 20meg service and they will book a tech to swap it for you and will refund the call time.;)

damn was on hold like 20mins
gave up and hang the phone up

wasted 1 hour on this stupid thing :mad:
and dunno how much for call charges (on BT line)

was going to go to the gym as i had some free time :o:
now that doesnt seems to be the case

if i have any health problems im gonna blam it on VM ;)

Once i eventually got through to someone with half a brain i`d request they sent it out me thinks.....and hope for the best:)

Getting through a spell on that phone can be an art in itself:)

not in my case. called up, tech 3 days later, cm swapped, jobs a good un.

I always thought it was £25 for the tech to come do it.

i got that when complaining about the download cap.

the tech support is an 09 number which means it will be charged at premium rates. that's 25p a minute.

don't use that. all you will get is some guy from an indian call centre that can only test your connection speed or request a techie to come around your house. all that for 25p a minute. you don't even get someone from your own country to speak to for that premium rate. YAY!
