OMG All you've done is complain.
It's Virgin Media's fault that your speed hasn't gone up when, in fact, it's your fault that you hadn't re-booted your modem. There are plenty of threads on here with people getting advice that you need to re-boot your modem.
You then complain that you're still getting slow speeds when it is during the peak hours - have you heard of contention. Things slow down when lots of people are using a service.
What you haven't done is give any valid information which might help people help you.
Do you have a wireless network? There is much evidence on here that many routers simply can't cope with high speed services.
Stop complaining and give us some information and, who knows, maybe somebody will help you.
