Download Speeds

Newbie dumb question ... what download speed is it reasonable to expect on the 20mb service. I am looking for expected mb/s so as to calculate download times.

VM reckon only 15% of people won't get 20Mbps but 16 SHOULD be the minimum, so 2MBps.

That's roughly a 4.3GB DVD in half an hour.

And it depends on where you are downloading from; the upload from the place where the data is makes a difference (torrents), or the www outside the VM network.

ive found that on average, with average 'seeds' when using torrents for example, i can download 8 gb ( series of a show for example) will download in about 10 hours.....but as said, it depends on how many seeds etc....but hope this helps...

max that you can get is 2.2mb but again all depends where you are downloading from
