Size M Email limits

Hi All
Would just like to know about the maximum size file I can send/receive through my virgin email. I am using my email via Outlook Express, If that matters at all.

as far as I know the absolute limit is 10MB, but email messages have overheads, which means the actual file size you can actually send is probably more like 6/7 MB.

I haven't tried this, myself - email wasn't really designed for large attachments.

You may be better off sending large files to your Virgin webspace, via FTP, then sending the intended recipient a link that they can download from??
