Recent issue i've had please help about lease..

Well recently my nets been shutting off, and i have to reset the router..


i go check my router, see if it will say anything, and i found something "new"

Lease Obtained 0 days,1 hrs,0 minutes Lease Expires 0 days,0 hrs,42 minutes


what is this?

and how i remove it? im not on dial up or anything..

That sounds like the lease of your IP address, but I don't think it should affect your connectivity. The IP lease will be renewed each time it expires.

nah IP stays the same... and its only been happening recently... just shuts off, i have to unplug router etc.. could phone em, but don;t have an hour to waste listening to crappy music...

Just because the IP address doesn't change, doesn't mean that the lease on it isn't being renewed.

i think its your internal ip thats being renewed all the time , try setting it as a static ip for the internal as your router will be dropping the internal ip i.e set 192.168.1.2 to lease time always or something like that , there should be an option some where :)

there isnt anyway to edit this, and its the first ever time i've seen it..

i think its to do with something about the wireless.. .about it changing something or other.. abit weird..
