Only getting 1mb on 2mb service

Hi

The past few days my connection has been slowing down to 1MB rather than the 2MB I am paying for. I am aware that Virgin have something in place which slows your connection down between 4pm and 12am if you download so much but this is happening to me outside these hours.

Have they changed the hours this happens in recently? This is in the Welwyn Garden City area.

If you fall foul of TM be aware that the 4hour "penalty" can continue outside of TM's 4.00-12.00 timeslot. Fir instance if you hit the buffers at 11.59pm then you will be shaped until 3.59pm. Also be aware that the time slot the shaping exists in is probably GMT.
