I've heard some ISPs provide these for free and for some you have to pay for a subscription.

Do VM do them for free?

How can I found out where to access them?

Thanks

Best bet is not to put a real email address in there.

Put something link nospam@thank.you and that should be fine.

Hmmm.

Maybe you do need a valid email address in that email address field, try your VM one.

dont know much about newsgroups never had a call about them and only used them once in college but this is some trouble shooting stuff we have on it

Error 502 - Permission Denied
To connect to the blueyonder newsgroups the users IP address must be a blueyonder IP and be recognized as such by an access control list.

Ensure the customer is trying to connect via their blueyonder connection
Without a blueyonder IP address they will not be able to connect
Check the status page for relevant Newsgroup outages
Test forward and reverse DNS lookup on customers address
This will make sure that the DNS entries are correct. This is essential for newsgroups as the server needs to ensure that the computer requesting a connection is connected using a blueyonder IP.
Sometimes when a new range of IP addresses are added to the blueyonder scope, there is a delay in adding these to the newsgroup access list.
