Good day,

Just wondering if anyone could tell me any pitfalls of going for the (more than reasonable) sky offer of

a sky+ box with 6 "mixes"
free evening and weekend calls
and "up to" 16meg ( i think i can get 5.5 where i live)

all for £25 a month.

havning looked at the NTL offering can they compete? is there something im missing with this sky offer?
http://packages.sky.com/buy/default.aspx?QS=true&see_mixes=6&see_extras=Sky+&equipment=SkyPlus&speak=FreeTime&surf_mb=8&surf_level=Mid&onetime_cost=129&monthly_cost=26â€Â â€Â âà ¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚ &cost_disclaimer=BT%20line%20rental%20remains%20pay able

i dont even want sky tv or a phone line but im happy to take them as i get the broadband and im paying £25 now just for ntl broadband

Don't forget that you will have to pay for a BT phone line increasing the £25 per month to £36 per month.

 why am I trying to convince someone to stay with VM rather than move to Sky?

The 3 for £30 offer is comparable on VM. 1 Bill form 1 provider is much better IMO instead of 2 Bills from 2 Providers.

I think the Sea, Speak, Surf deal is £26 + £10.50 BT line rental. £36.60 a month.
