Hi,

I'm currently paying £25 per month for 4MB Broadband through Virginmedia. I have the Samsung SMT-2100C box connected to a Netgear wifi router.

For quite sometime now I have felt that VM are giving me a raw deal with the speed and cost of their broadband service, were it not for the hastle of having the BT line reconnected then I would be very tempted to jump ship.

We have the XL TV package and two additional STB and telephone line rental which is currently being discounted to about £90 per month including BB, excluding call charges.

The discount is being applied to TV channels, no reductions on broadband.

I would be interested to know if what I'm getting sounds like a fair deal overall compared to your experiences and also if VM have any plans, for example, to upgrade the 4MB service to 10MB at no extra charge?

cheers

Mark

You should be on the VIP package for £85 per month. See this link:

http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html/bundles/vip.html

You'll have to pay a bit extra for the third box as VIP only includes two but you will get a V+ as one of your boxes and 20 Mb broadband and some other things you don't have.
