Hi all

I fancy the idea of one of these...........:dozey:

Has anyone else got one and would they recommend it ???

Any recommendations on supplies

I think we have one - the garden is Mrs Gaz's domain, so not sure.

Basically it is a bucket with holes in the bottom for drainage into which our vegetable scraps are chucked in & the worms eat the scraps & make compost.

You have to get the correct kind of worms, though - have a google, there are plenty of sites offering kits, worms & advice :)

Yeah - the small red ones. Unique to composts - I've never seen them elsewhere. Also good for fishing with, apparently.

:D yes - I asked earlier, they are still there & have apparently made some nice compost :)
