These details won't be online for long, so any help appreciated!:tu:
I always liked the names Roadkill or Formaldehyde.
Not allowed pets at the moment, and gf's said when we can, we can't use those names :(
Well, if our two are anything to go by, how about 'Gerroffy'bugger'? It'll save a lot of hassle in the long term, I'll tell you :D

How strange would you sound calling for her to come in on a dark night, my choice would be Meatloaf :erm: :D

Sour - on the account of the look on her face in the pic :erm:
She is a lovely colour, must be said. I'm struggling to think of suitable names. You want something short and simple. The Egyptians worshipped them - might be a suitable name there.

That would be Bast:

I had a cat called Maggie once, i liked that name:D My current cat is called Barney, and i used to have one called Beenie.
I like her black paw :D

Toffee, cos all cats get into sticky situations sometimes... ;)
call it "Come here" or "Stay"
Or a Billy Connolly would say "Geti fiya bassa"

I'd definitely call her Taffy. She looks like pulled taffy, that old fashioned toffee that looked as though it had sunlight caught inside.
Am I to late..
Puggles. :D
I called my cats Scratch and Scrap.;)

Call her ASDA then :erm: Or Eddie - because of the leader singer of the band whose music is used in the ASDA adverts...
Looks like a scrag pot to me
I second Tigger... but I wasn't allowed to call my cat that so hes called Stitch (amoungst other things, sometimes not very polite) as his ears are like the cartoon characters.

Our cat is called Fig.
I hate cats. They're horrible animals owned by your neighbours that come and crap in your garden. They're a pest really. But I have my supersoaker ready to deal with intruders :)

Chances are your neighbours are reasonably well behaved. Unlike your average cat. As I said horrible animals. Best dealt with swiftly... :)

Yeah, cos dogs are nicer... Just like the neighbours dog that bit me on the back of my leg last year (gave me a very nasty bruise) when I went out on my back garden.
Neighbour was very apologetic as I could have had his dog reported (since it did bite me).

Thanks for all the suggestions but we have decided to call her Poppy! Since being here she's gone off like a bottle of pop around the house, she's into everything - she's made herself right at home and is already responding to her new name!
Thanks once again for all the suggestions. :tu:
Sounds like a nice name :tu:
Any chance of posting some photos ?

Great name. Hope you have many happy years with Poppy. We have certainly never regretted adopting our rescue cats.
