Hey,

I have an exam this afternoon, I have been up most the night running back and forth to the bathroom. I think I have food poisoning. I cant really avoid the exam so I need ways to make myself feel better and as fast as possible?

Any advice?

What Xaccers said. Clench butt cheeks & sprint to pharmacy.

Same as above, try to get your head down for a little nap too - its amazing how you feel afterwards.

There were new imodium advertised on tv the other day which are supposed to take away the cramp pains, for me thats the worst thing. Get someone to nip out and pick you some up :)

Good luck with your exam.

PS is there any possibility it could be down to nerves? If so, you might benefit from kalms.

Buy a bucket... not sure about the other end.

It's probably a virus though. Anyone else had it?

Nah, The exam was fine. I drunk lots of water and was mostly tired, thankfully the paper was a nice one so I did well regardless.

Damien - why a jacket spud though?

How long was the exam? I suppose an hour / 90 mins isn't too bad to hold "it" in for... 2 hrs can be a bit bad though.

They normally don't seem to mind too much at uni.

Bet you were glad to get out. We could leave after the first hour, but not in the last 15 mins.

Yeah but the point is you can't do a 2 hour exam in 30 mins. Well, unless you've not done it in enough detail.

I always used to stay, mainly because we did at school anyway, and it gives you time to check over the paper see if you've missed anything.

This is at UCL as well - I am surprised.

I think its 30 mins because the latest u can arrive to an exam is 30 mins. Yes, normally to do a paper properly it takes 1hr 30 mins approx if u know everything! My last paper I had finished in 1 hr 15 mins coz it was a pretty straight forward paper! Also, there are 6 questions on the paper, with the best 4 q's marked... so there is time to do 6 questions, although u can do just 4 if u think u are correct or 5/6 if u have time.... also they dont show marks, so u might aswell do as much as u can since u dont know what is worth what!

P.S. I never leave early :D
